Join us for a LIVE TABLE READ of sitcom MELTDOWN featuring a fabulously faggy family written by Alix Eve & Kate Sharp. Alix is an ‘enigmatic’ filmmaker/straight-man to gossip-addicted comedian Kate (NB: neither of them are actually straight).
This is a gender affirming surgery fundraiser with proceeds going to Alix's (booked in yey!) top surgery.
Hosted at the glorious Chats Palace Arts Centre in Homerton, in the theatre in stunning cabaret style.
Expect laughs, snorts, silliness and fun, we can't wait to share this story and the evening you.
More on MELTDOWN: In a dilapidated house share (you’ve probably done a stint in one like it) a group of queers navigate the ins and outs of life while the world faces a ridiculous disaster - the sun’s decision to outgrow us. Each housemate brings their unique flair to the chaos - they avoid responsibilities, ignore each other's feelings and truly believe they know best. Yet, of course, our gang will eventually find common ground in each other’s endless quirks and fuck ups.
