Artist biogs:
Kodama こだま is the collaboration of Akiharu Kitagawa and Clementine Blue, blending the ethereal sound of the koto with deep analog synthesisers in a semi-improvised, cross-genre project inspired by nature in Japan and the UK. Their music is a gentle walk through an ambient garden of mosses, mugwort and magpies, and a reminder to spend time outside and notice the small things growing in the cracks.
Pond is a collaborative project by Rosie Carr & Pedro Figueiredo. They make field recordings using hydrophones, contact microphones and other tools such as biodata synths to tune into submerged ecologies. They make tape loops of found sounds and homemade drum patterns. They are interested in sounds constructed from organ pipes, fragments of recorders and pond pumps. Improvisation shapes our performance, creating an immersive sonic environment of imagined commons and untamed spaces.
