We’re hosting a cosy book exchange and reading afternoon in a room just for us. Bring a book or a few (they don't have to be sapphic) you’re ready to pass on, and the book you’re currently reading. Once you’ve swapped, you can settle in and read in each other’s company, or chat about your favourite authors, characters, and plot twists.
We’ll have post-its available so you can leave little notes inside the books you’re exchanging. Share your thoughts on it, favourite quotes, what you loved or hated, or even your socials if you’d like to keep the conversation going with the person who picks it up.
The bar and restaurant will be open, and we encourage you to grab a drink and a bite while you’re there to support the venue! :)
Whether you’re trying to get back into reading or just want to meet other sapphics who love books, this is a relaxed, easy way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
The Sapphic Space is a Community Interest Company (CIC). That means any money made goes straight back into the community, either directly through events and artists, or by growing the space itself so sapphic connection and safe spaces can continue to thrive.
