Concessions or pay what you can tickets available for low and unwaged party goers but these are limited. We do not require proof of status on the night or at the time of booking.
This is a queer event but it's open to anyone outside of the LQBTQIA+ community if you feel like it's going to be your kind of vibe. All are welcome to come and party as long as you're respectful of people being their authentic queer selves!
Dress Code
No actual dress code is enforced - be fierce, be comfy, be yourselves! We love it when people dress up but it's not a dealbreaker - this isn't Berghain and we don't police what people wear. We want everyone to have a great time and be nice to each other. The attitude you bring to Cryptid matters a lot more than the clothing you wear.
Accessibility
FORGE is an accessible venue with step free access throughout.
This is a standing event with seating available for anyone who needs it. The accessible viewing area is at the front left side of the room directly in front of the stage and is in the form of metal folding chairs with backs - these do not have cushioning. Each show last approx 45 minutes. Seating cannot be reserved but is clearly labelled as for disabled patrons only. We hire 50 chairs each show. If you find there is insufficient seating please find a member of the Cryptid team as we have benches in reserve that can be put out.
There are wheelchair spaces on the night, these do not need to be reserved ahead of time.
FORGE has an accessible toilet.
There is a Welfare Area located near the entrance which can also be used as a quiet space.
Please be aware that the courtyard has majority cobbled areas, and the floor in Room Two/The Workroom is mostly cobbled.
If you have any accessibility concerns or queries please get in touch. On the night if you need any assistance please find either our welfare witch - a tall non-binary person with a mushroom hat, either of our stage managers Terrabelle or Isa, or one of the FORGE staff who will be more than happy to assist you.
Cloakroom
FORGE no longer operates a cloakroom as this has been replaced by lockers located in the main room which can be purchased in advance via the FORGE website and selecting the relevant event and date. They can also be purchased on the night. Payment is taken digitally via the website or app.
Advanced tickets recommended - we offer tickets on the door at £30 either cash or card. Tickets are on sale until noon on the day of the event, this is the last time tickets are available at discounted rates.
Donations go towards the running costs of the event which currently receives no funding and is ran not for profit.
