ANTIUNIVERSITY NOW: Lego Art Letterpress Workshop #2
Participants will draft, set, and print their own designs — learning the basics of printmaking in practice!
Paper will be provided, but feel free to bring your own material to print on if you want to customise your own notebooks, patches, or cards. (Tip: Generally it is easier to print on thinner papers or material.)
All inks used are non-toxic. Please take care to bring your own apron or clothes you don't mind getting ink on!
Suitable for ages 6+. All children must be accompanied by a guardian.

Letterpress is a centuries old method of printmaking that has a high barrier to entry due to the tools and expensive equipment involved.
Printing with LEGO is a DIY method that lowers the barrier to entry. It is also a type of relief printmaking (ink applied to a raised surface) that doesn't involve sharp tools or carving. At the end, the tiles can also be cleaned and reused.
