Patch 26 is a pop-up social space that will be open for a week, from 26th September - 3rd October at All Hallows Church in Leeds.
Our aim is to bring together all of the different community organising, left-wing political work, and activism happening across Leeds. Let's harness our collective power with both hands - learning from each other across different factions, building trust and strength, and planning for a future of more audacious, effective and powerful politics of liberation within our city.
To address the political problems we face we need a well connected movement - all of the organising work we do to form a patchwork, that can grow in solidarity, patch by patch, year by year. Join us so we can starting making that together at Patch 26.
Come, meet, cook, eat, challenge, be challenged, share, build, scheme...!!!
Programme
to be fillled in!
Accessibility and welfare
All Hallows has accessible and gender neutral toilets availiable, and is wheelchair accessible with step free access. We will have a quiet room and a trained safegaurding team on hand throughout the event. We will have Kids Patch activities available at times during the weekends, ran by DBS checked volunteers.
Tickets/ Donations
We are asking for sliding scale donations to help us pay for facillitators, food and workshops. There will be donations taken on the door, but buying a ticket will help us know how many to expect and ensure you a spot in case we fill our building's capacity. However, these donations are not compulsory at all, and are just a way to show your intention of attending and help us cover our costs. You're welcome to just turn up, if you'd like!
If you're planning on attending multiple days, select a weekend or week ticket and then simply pay however much you feel comfortable with- no need to buy lots of tickets!
Here is a guide to help you decide how much to pay, adapted from The Green Bottle Sliding Scale by Califia Collective (califiacollective.org)
