Join us on the 14th of September for a screening of 'Cinema Fouad’ (dir. Mohamed Soueid), fundrasing for mutual aid in Gaza and Lebanon.
Cinema Fouad is a documentary portrait of Khaled El Kurdi, a Syrian freedom fighter and trans woman living in Beirut, where she earns a living as a domestic worker and belly dancer.
We will be raising funds for two groups:
After the screening, which will begin at 7:30pm, we invite you to take part in an open discussion around the film. We will be serving free snacks and refreshment.
