This is an event for flinta people who make or are curious about experimental, noise, heavy electronics, and industrial music. We exist to build a community that's beginner and budget friendly, non-hierarchical, and genuinely welcoming, for people who love difficult sound.

7–8pm — Mixer: come early, meet people, have a drink. Bring gear if you want to talk it through with others, or just come for a chat. This is where we get to know each other. Sign-up for the showcase, if you want.
8–9pm — Psychogeographic Synth Development w NNJA RIOT
We are incredibly excited to invite NNJA RIOT to GRIT. From the polls we've done asking you what you want to see - this topic has been requested the most amount of times and we are happy to provide you with the absolute best and talented guru that is NNJA RIOT.
NNJA RIOT will give a presentation about the development of their synths; exploring ideas and concepts, showing process photos and drawings.
This will be followed by a demo session where attendees can try out and play the synths.
The synths are immediately playable and require no previous music experience.
There will be a few kits and fully built units if people want to purchase at a discount from their Etsy shop price(!!)
9.15–10.30pm — Showcase: (four slots available) - Wanna jam with some new pals? Bring a track, run part of a live set with sound and tech support on hand, or share whatever you're working on. Feedback available if you want it.
