Most businesses spend money on marketing and hope it works. Performance marketing flips that around, so you only pay when you actually get a sale, a lead or a sign-up. In this session I'll share what I've learned from 15+ years in affiliate and partnership marketing, working with brands like eBay, Swarovski and PUMA, and more recently building Happy Codes, a platform connecting LGBTQ+-friendly brands with our community. We'll look at how affiliate and partner marketing work in plain English, how LGBTQ+ founders and marketers can use them to grow without big upfront budgets, and how AI search is quietly rewriting the rules of how customers find you. Whether you run your own business or market someone else's, you'll leave with ideas you can act on the next morning.
