Join Colchester Pride for a fabulous evening of books, conversation and live entertainment at Red Lion Books, Colchester.
Proud Pages & Queer Stages brings together queer literature and performance for a special event celebrating LGBTQ+ stories, creativity and community.
The evening will feature a talk, Q&A and book signing with acclaimed author A. J. West, who will be discussing his book How Queer Bookshops Changed the World as well as his brand-new novel, The Deadly Inheritance of Everest MacDonald.
A. J. West will explore the stories behind his work, the importance of queer books and bookshops, and the role LGBTQ+ literature continues to play in preserving history, creating visibility and bringing people together.
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and have books signed following the talk.
And it wouldn’t be Queer Stages without some fabulous entertainment.
The evening will include captivating performances from drag star Ace Spectrum, with more entertainment throughout the night.
Expect an evening filled with brilliant conversation, queer storytelling, books, performance and community in the welcoming surroundings of Red Lion Books.
