Everything Poetry Night: Tuesday 6th October 2026
Come and join us on the first floor at the Oystercatcher in Greenwich for an evening of poetry.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start - come anytime from 7pm. Open mic names are picked at random from a hat and you can sign up by putting your name in on the night. Open mic slots are 5 minutes long. Show your ticket to the bar staff for 10% off drinks!
Our headliner this month is the fantastic K. Blair! K. Blair loves horror movies and fried egg sandwiches. They are a 2026 Barbican Young Poet and was a 2025 Barbican Young Film Programmer, helping to curate the Chronic Youth Film Festival: Against All Odds. In June 2017, she took part in creating ‘A Poem For London’, at Spread the Word’s Young People’s Laureate for London Poetry Lab, and in 2019 was part of the Apples and Snakes project, ‘The Writing Room’. Her work has been published in a number of literary journals, as well as The Valley Press Anthology of Prose Poetry, Spoken Word London’s Anti-Hate Anthology, Bad Betty Press's Book of Bad Betties, and Flame Tree Press' Morgana Le Fay Anthology. Their debut pamphlet, The Death of the Cult Classic is published by kith books.
