Starting university can be exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between. That's why the Desi Society is bringing back our annual Freshers' Social. The perfect opportunity to meet new people from different universities, make friends, and kick off the academic year in a relaxed mixer-style evening.
No pressure, no cliques, and no awkward introductions, just good vibe, good conversations, and a great way to kick off the year!
Join us at The Ark on the 25th of September for an evening of conversation, games, food, and fun as students from across Glasgow come together to celebrate the start of a new year.

This event is followed by the BollyNasha Club Night, taking place at a different location at the Classic Grand, Glasgow, G1 4QD. Separate ticket for the entry to this event must be purchased from below.

The event begins at 7:00 PM, although attendees are welcome to arrive throughout the evening. Valid ID required. The Freshers' Social is intended to be a friendly and inclusive space where students can meet others, participate in activities, and enjoy the start of the academic year together. Please be respectful of fellow attendees, venue staff, and society volunteers throughout the event.
