What to expect
SOCIAL HOUR
Our evening will begin with a chilled social hour from 7pm, perfect for meeting new faces and catching up with familiar ones. Coming solo or joining us for the first time? The evening will be hosted and we will have low music and ice breakers to get everyone chatting.
DANDY ISSUES - DRAG KING
Time to turn up the CAMP with our favourite award-winning comedy king, Dandy Issues. Dandy will bring his signature quick wit and silly shenanigans - exactly how our party should start!
DJ EMS
You loved her so much last year, of course we had to ask her back. DJ Ems will be serving plenty of gay bops to keep us dancing into the night. You'll often find Ems DJing at cool queer parties in London - so it's a treat to have her here with us in Southampton!
Who’s it for?
This event is for LGBTQIA+ women, trans and non-binary people. We are proudly trans-inclusive. You don't need to have attended a Sapphic Social to join the party either - the more the merrier.
About the venue - The Loft, Southampton
The Loft is the perfect party spot with our own private entrance. You’ll find The Loft in Bedford Place, an 18 minute walk from Southampton Central Train Station and plenty of buses nearby.
Accessibility
- The venue is on the first floor and is only accessible by stairs, with no lift or step-free access.
- Toilets are on the same floor as our party and are for our private use, so they’ll be gender neutral.
- We have access to a green room if you need a quieter space to take a breather - just find one of the hosts or get in touch in advance.
