THE LAUNCH SOCIAL
Come along to our very first leather social and join in the beginning of something special!
We're excited to bring together Nottingham's (and beyond) leatherfolk for an evening of fun, socialising, and making connections. Hosted/MC'd by Loki Lavender in our fully private and wheelchair accessible venue. Enjoy drinks and light bites from the cafe/bar, socialise and relax, get your leather cared for by a bootblack, and get a chance to win fabulous prizes in our raffle!
Everyone gets one free raffle ticket on entry but you can always buy a few more to support our event and up your chances.
We operate a wristband entry so you will be able to leave and re-enter at any time.
There will be a ticketed cloakroom available.
SPECIAL GUEST PANEL
To launch The Nottingham Leather Social we have invited community leaders, educators, and title holders from across the wider leather community to come and take part in a discussion of leather culture with a focus on its roots as a home to the outsider and its position in the world now. The discussion will be hosted by our very own Loki Lavender and there will be a Q&A at the end.
The full line-up will be announced soon…

ACCESSIBILITY
Fisher Gate Point is a wheelchair accessible venue. There is a step at the front door but there will always be a member of staff/ volunteer on hand to put down the foldable ramp for anyone who needs it. The cafe/bar, workshop room, and toilets are up a short flight of stairs with a self-operated stair-lift installed. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom.
We strive to make our event accessible and welcoming for all so there will be no flashing lights/strobes, the music will be kept to a moderate volume throughout, and we will endeavor to ensure adequate lighting throughout the venue.
There will always be two designated volunteer Safeguarding Reps, clearly indicated by lanyards, who are there if you need any kind of support.
