You’re invited to join us for a special afternoon celebrating young people, achievements and an important milestone for The OutHouse!
We would like to invite young people, Parents/Carers, Partnership organisations and Funders.
📅 Sunday 4th October
⏰ 4:00pm–6:00pm
📍 The OutHouse
At the event, we’ll be celebrating Our young people receiving Jack Petchey Awards and recognizing the fantastic achievements of young people in our community.
We’ll also be hosting the premiere of the Pioneer film, with some special guest speakers joining us to share their experiences, stories and inspiration.
And there’s another reason to celebrate — 30th anniversary of 19 East Hill! The OutHouse has been lucky enough to own our building at 19 East Hill since 1996, a real privilege for a charity!
The building was purchased in 1996 after a generous legacy. Owning a building as a charity is of enormous benefit. It gives us stability and some financial reassurance as we don’t need to pay rent or a mortgage. It also gives us certain freedoms around modifications and decoration (although there are still some restrictions on this!).
Our counselling rooms provide a peaceful place for therapy and wellbeing appointments, and our social space offers room for our social groups. For 30 years, 19 East Hill has been a safe space for our community to meet and be themselves.
It promises to be a great afternoon of celebration, inspiration and recognition, and we’d love for you to come along and be part of it.
We hope to see you there!
