Get your skates on and join us for a spooky afternoon of rollerskating, learning, dancing, jamming — and the launch of our new People Skate Glasgow T-shirts!

1–3 PM — Learn & Level Up
Whether you’re brand new to rollerskating or looking to add some new moves to your flow, we’ve got you covered!
Beginners: Hattie, Paulina & Zofia will take you through rollerskating fundamentals and some iconic moves, including:
-Barrel Roll
-Downtown
-Zero
-G-Slide
-Dribbles
Improvers: We’ll teach variations of these moves, helping you build confidence, creativity and flow on your skates.
3–5 PM — OPEN JAM
Time to put those moves into practice! Come skate, dance and have fun with the People Skate Glasgow community with a DJ providing tunes!
Costumes are welcome but absolutely not mandatory!
If you’ve pre-ordered a T-shirt, you’ll be able to collect it at the event. Can’t make it on the day? No worries! Just drop us a message and we’ll arrange an alternative collection with you.

Tickets
Skate session and open jam - £8 / £10 / £15 (choice of ticket price depending on your budget)
If you can't afford a ticket, please get in touch through our instagram as no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
The meet up is suitable for all levels of rhythm skating. Come with friends or on your own, we welcome everyone!
Please note we do not provide roller skates and you will need to bring your own.
We want to make sure everyone stays safe, but there is always a risk when skating. So if you are new to skating please wear appropriate protection and we are not responsible for your risk during the meet up.
Ticket costs cover the hire of the hall. Any profit from the skate session will be used to fund future meet ups.
