Introducing:
Love Club Life-Drawing + small plates supper
Wednesday 4 November, 19:00 to 21:00, Green Place Studios, Homerton/Clapton
Supper, life-drawing, and all materials included.
Charcoal fingers and red wine lips, this time meets a delicious small plates supper, cooked lovingly for us by the magical Ruth Kilsby.
If you’ve been to a Love Club life-drawing session before, you’ll know they are fun, light and draped in sweet sounds and soft velvet. If it’s your first time, you’re so welcome- as with all things Love Club, we are way more interested in the route to creativity, the act of creativity, rather than the creation of a masterpiece. Though what we’ve realised is that often when you release the need to create something ‘perfect’, the muse cuts through, and you leave with magic.
Come and draw with us, at the simply beautiful Green Place Studios- a creative photography studio cocoon in Homerton/Clapton, and be fed deliciously by our wonderful Chef Ruth.
We will start, as always, with some quick exercises, prompts and shorter poses to warm up and settle in. Then we will take a short break, and feast, whilst we move into some longer poses, giving you the opportunity to spend some time with each pose.
The meal will be veggie, with some vegan options available- full menu shared very soon. Let us know before booking if you have any allergies, to make sure we can cater for you and keep you safe. All materials provided, we’ll have an incredible model posing for us. You’ll leave with all your sketches to adorn your walls.

The evening will look a bit like this:
18:30- Arrivals, get settled, pour a glass
18:45-19:30-Part 1- Life-drawing quick exercises and shorter poses to warm up
19:30-20:10-Fill your plates and grab a quick break
20:10-21:00-Part 2- Longer poses, while nibbling and feasting
21:00- Goodbyes
Tickets this time are a fixed price, rather than sliding scale, due to the costs of catering, space and our amazing life-model, to make sure we can pay everyone fairly. This includes your 2 hour life-drawing session, along with your small plates supper, lovingly crafted by our wonderful Love Clubber Ruth Kilsby. Come and get into some juicy creativity, and feast for all the senses.
