Got an old sock missing its partner, or a pair that’s seen better days? Don’t throw it out turn it into a character!

Join textile artist Fred Link for a hands-on workshop transforming discarded socks into custom puppets. Learn basic structural tweaking, embellishment techniques, and character design to give your puppet its own distinct look and personality.

All skill levels welcome no prior sewing or puppet-making experience needed.

Age restriction: 12+

Terms & Conditions

Ticket Purchase & Confirmation: Registration is confirmed only upon full payment of the £10 fee per participant.
Cancellation & Refunds: Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the event will receive a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours or for no-shows.
Materials Provided & Brought: Basic crafting materials, trims, and tools are provided. Participants are required to bring their own sock(s) to use for the workshop.
Tool Use & Safety: Participants will be using basic textile tools (such as scissors and fabric glue). Minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Liability Waiver: The organizer (Fred Link) and the venue are not responsible for personal injury, damage to personal belongings, or stained/damaged clothing during the event.
Photography & Media: Photos or videos taken during the workshop may be used for promotional purposes by Fred Link. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the organizer at the start of the session.
Event Rescheduling: If the workshop is canceled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to a future date.
