Have you ever felt the horror of having a body? Have you noticed a dissonance between your inner life and your physical form? Were you traumatized as a child from watching that girl in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory turn into a blueberry? Or, to put it bluntly, have you seen the TV glow?
If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone. WHAT IF is bringing you a body horror show with an all trans cast, the perfect treat for those of you who are just not ready to let go of spooky season after the 31st of October.
This show will deal with themes that may be upsetting to some folks, namely gore, mentions of transphobia, suicide, and death - keep an eye out on our Instagram, as we will have a post dedicated to specific content warnings for this show.
WHAT IF its a trans body horror special?' will take place in Bedlam Theatre in Edinburgh, on Wednesday the 4th of November. Doors open at 10:15pm, with performances from 10:30 pm, and the show finishing around midnight. Tickets are £7 for students ahead of time, general entry is £8 ahead of time. On the door tickets will be available for everyone at £10.
You can also support us by buying a pay forward ticket if you can't attend. We will give this ticket to someone who can attend but can't afford to.
WHAT IF is a strictly 18+ event, so make sure to bring your ID.
