Online workshop | 5 Nov 2026 | 18.00-20.00 (BST) 10.00-12.00 (PST)
Following their most recent collection, Ampersand Organ: a more-than-human lyric, heidi andrea restrepo rhodes will lead a generative poetry workshop on “ampersanding”—a poetic approach that embraces excess and eros, surrealism and spillage, entanglement and constellatory thinking, and the “more-than” of our bodying life and collective existence. This workshop is for you who wear their heart on their sleeve; you maximalists of feeling; you who want to lean into the muchness of language and living.
heidi andrea restrepo rhodes is a queer, non-binary, crip/disabled, brown, writer, artist, scholar, educator, cultural worker and creature of the Colombian diaspora. They are author of The Inheritance of Haunting, Ephemeral, Afterlives of Discovery: Speculative Geographies in the Settler Colonial Imaginary, Wayward Creatures, and Ampersand Organ: a more-than-human lyric.
