Back by popular demand!! Queer Creatives London presents the end-of-year Winter Bookish Social 📚
Whether you’re a regular attender of our monthly book club or this is your first QCL event, come one, come all for a fun winter’s night of chatting books. This is a great chance to meet other literature-loving queers, pick up new recommendations and leave with your next read.
This event includes:
📕 A book swap, so please bring with you a book or two (the more the merrier) that you’re happy to swap, and leave with a new title to add to your TBR pile
⁉️ A bookish quiz
🗣️ Fun prompts, icebreakers and conversation starters to find your new bookish bestie
Event Details:
🗓️ Friday 11th December 2026
⏰ 7.15pm - 9.15pm
📍 ARC Collective, 98b Saint Paul Street, London, N1 7DF
🌈 About QCL Book Club
Join a friendly and like-minded group of book-loving LGBTQ+ creatives, to discuss a classic and diverse range of queer texts.
We read one book per month and meet once a month on the last Tuesday of every month (except in December, when we have our yearly Winter Bookish Social!) at ARC Collective in Islington.
QCL is not for profit; all profits go towards paying the venue for hosting us and future events & projects within the collective.
Concession Tickets:
If you are on low income and need a free concession ticket, please drop us an email at events@queercreativeslondon.co.uk We'll sort you out.
🫂 Accessibility
We are a neurodivergent and disability friendly book club and aim to make our meetings as accessible as possible! There is no pressure to speak during meetings if you don’t wish to, or to finish text before meetings if this isn’t possible.
We also have first aiders and mental health first aiders present at each event.
If you have any access needs you’d like to discuss before attending, or if you have any other questions, please get in touch! You can contact us on our Instagram @queercreativeslondon or via email at events@queercreativeslondon.co.uk
