Come and join us for our second hike!
This time, we’re heading to Durham for a 15km circular walk! This point-to-point route will take around 5.5 hours, including a break for lunch. We’ll be meeting at the start point for the hike for 10 AM and heading off straight away! Once we reach the end, we’ll head straight to the pub for a pint and a chill!
🥾 No previous hiking experience needed! However, this route is a little longer than our last one, and with limited daylight, we’ll need to keep a relatively quick, steady pace to make sure we finish before dark. You don’t need to be an experienced hiker, but you should feel comfortable walking 15km without lots of long breaks. As always, the aim is to get outdoors, enjoy the walk and meet new people!
🐕 Dogs are welcome! They must be comfortable around other dogs both on and off lead, as we may encounter dogs in different situations throughout the walk. Please make sure your dog is happy walking the full 15km and remember that you’re responsible for them throughout the hike, including keeping them safe around livestock and cleaning up after them.
‼️ Full details, including the exact meeting point and a link to the WhatsApp group, will be sent in your confirmation email. Please join the WhatsApp group, as this is where key information will be shared on the day, rather than through OutSavvy or Instagram. If tickets sell out, we recommend joining the waitlist promptly, as tickets may become available.
