Kink Deep offers an opportunity to participate in intellectually kinky topics that are often heavily pathologised within the world of mainstream or, on the flip side, heavily sexualised.
After grabbing your complimentary drink at the bar, you can expect an intimate evening of thought-provoking ideas and stimulating conversations as we explore the relationships among desire, culture, power, and meaning. Where the point of admission is leaning in with curiosity.
You might find yourself questioning an assumption, encountering a perspective you had not considered or leaving with a question that lingers at the edge of self. At this intimate event, you will play with words and ideas. Though as the space is vanilla, all clothes will be kept on. This event is an intellectual stimulation of the mind - a kink for some, in and of itself.

- What is Kink Deep about?
- Kink Deep is a conversational space hosted, curated, and facilitated by a trained counsellor and member of the Kink community who brings together professional experience in reflective dialogue with a personal curiosity about the intersection of kink, identity, desire, and the meaning we give them.
- What can I wear to Kink Deep?
- “Vanilla with a hint of Kink!” You are welcome to dress in a way that pays homage to your kink. However, please remember this is a public space, therefore some restraint may be needed as you will be in a ‘vanilla’ setting.
- How many people will be at Kink Deep?
- To remain personal and have the chance to actively participate with the subject, the host and each other, there will be no more than 15 Curious Minds with us in the room.
- Is there parking for my car at the venue?
- The venue is located 1 minute walk New Street train station, therefore parking will only be located in and around the city.
- Will the event be available online?
- This is an in person experience only. While the host is a practicing counsellor, the space is non-clinical in nature and a non-play event.
- Can I access the room with a lift?
- Given the age of the building, there is only stair access to the room above the venue where Kink Deep will be held.
- What is the complimentary drink option?
- You will have a choice of 3 complimentary drinks to select from, carefully made for you to enjoy as you settle into the space, with rhythmic music in the background before the host makes the first call.
Terms & Conditions
By making a purchase to Kink Deep, you are agreeing to the following:
- You ARE aged 18 or older as this conversational space is for adults only.
- You will NOT take photos or record anyone attending the Kink Deep event.
- You ONLY use the names AND pronouns as others wished to be called in the space. (Please clarify what names others may wish to be called before ‘outing’ anyone)
- Confidentiality means respecting other’s choice to share what is comfortable within the space and to also not identify any attendee’s outside of the space unless a safety issue arise.
- To USE the event’s safe word should you wish to alert the host or the safety team. (The safe word is disclosed upon arrival of the event).
