Queer Up Duck - A Place To Be Art Exhibition
Queer Up Duck! and The Pride Shop proudly presents artwork created by young people who attend the Base51 – Outburst sessions.
Working with experienced facilitator Alma Solarte-Tobon, the young people explored and reflected on identity and what it means to be a young LGBTQ+ person in Nottingham.
Across three sessions, they experimented with different techniques to create their own artwork, reflecting their experiences at Outburst: a sense of community, togetherness and, more specifically, a great friendship group where everyone is accepted and feels safe to be themselves.
This event is free to attend. However you can get an Any Standard Hot Drink and Cake for £5.50 whilst you enjoy the artwork in the main cafe area. Click the ticket type below.
