TransGenerations with Tomara Garrod and Lu Wilson
Join us for the second session of our TransGenerations workshops facilitated by Tomara Garrod and Lu Wilson.
How does sharing art contribute to building strength and connection for trans people and our communities? We can learn a lot from each other by the art that we make and consume - the soundtracks to our everyday lives, the movies that fill our screens, etc. These can be powerful, exciting opportunities to find common ground and discover new ways of expressing and affirming transness. In this session, we’ll make a collective collage to visualise the art that nurtures trans life across generations. We’ll also share songs, films, books, and other media to build a “playlist” of art that helps us to become who we are.
This is the second of six monthly workshops, taking place on the second-to-last Saturday of every month. New and returning participants aged 18+ are warmly welcome.
