La Monocle Speed Dating at The Old Nun's Head!!!!!
Bigger. Better. Queerer. And now at our new home: The Old Nun’s Head.
La Monocle Speed Dating is back, and this time we’re taking over the perfect community pub, The Old Nun’s Head, for an evening of queer connection, flirting, chaos and hopefully a few sparks…
Hosted by Amelie Roch, expect multiple rounds of expertly curated speed dating, designed to get you talking, laughing and meeting plenty of new people in a fun, relaxed and unapologetically queer environment.
And there’s more…
- Multiple speed dating rounds curated by Amelie Roch
- Prizes to be won throughout the evening
- A queer team behind the bar, keeping the drinks flowing
- Food available at the pub
- Plenty of opportunities to flirt, connect and meet your next crush
- And a few surprises along the way…
Arriving & Registration
The Old Nun’s Head is open to you before the event, so feel free to pop in, grab a drink, get some food and settle in before things kick off.
Registration for speed dating starts strictly at 7pm and closes at 7:30pm.
Please make sure you arrive and register within this window. If you haven't arrived by 7:30pm, you may not be able to participate in the speed dating. This is important as our rounds are carefully organised in advance and we need to get everyone paired up and ready to go.
So: come early, grab a drink, say hello and get yourself settled before the flirting begins. 💘

Photography & Video
Photography and social content will be happening at this event.
If you do not want to be photographed, please ask one of our team members for a NO PHOTO wristband when you arrive at the doors. We'll make sure our photographers know to avoid you.
We'll also have our socials team at the event creating video content. Our team will always ask before filming you directly, so please let them know if you don't want to appear in video content.
You may occasionally appear in the background of photographs or videos, particularly in a busy pub environment, but we'll do our best to avoid filming or photographing anyone who has asked not to be included.
If you're unsure about anything, just speak to a member of the La Monocle team when you arrive,we're happy to help.
