Featuring:
Yazzy D
Yazzy D is a British Ghanaian rapper, writer and researcher born and based in South London. Initially starting her performance journey as a spoken word poet, her work is playful, nostalgic and political. Earlier this year, she decided to have a go at producing beats using vocal loops on her iPad to accompany her lyrics, which she first performed as part of the Piehouse Co-op's Marginalised artists programme.
Scar
Scar is a rapper from Essex whose music is rooted in honest, conscious bars over chill beats, writing from her own life and working-class roots.
Formerly performing as a part of JUMEAUX, playing venues across Essex and London, SCAR is now stepping out and taking that experience into her own solo work, where her writing and perspective take centre stage.
Rubber Dolly
RUBBER DOLLY is a brooding punky cuntry 3-piece fresh from london’s dyke world ! Expect pipin hot fresh tunes exploring queer love n lust, the strange nature of having a body and, of course, yearning (when will we learn….)
Expect severe looks served and odes to divas of country and punk past. Longing as a way of life baby!
Luce Rushton
Luce Rushton’s upcoming second EP ‘Hard Blue’ is a country-edged fingerstyle guitar record accompanying raw, journalistic and figurative songwriting.
Following acclaim for the debut EP ‘Slinky’ from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Radio 6 and CLASH magazine, this new record is intricate and intimate. Produced by Joseph Futak and performed with long-time collaborators Bridie Rushton, Alex Parry of Lex Vervain, Zha Gandhi of Tall Child and Iris McConnell of Girl Ray, ‘Hard Blue’is set for release in 2027
Clash Magazine - "The artist’s pop-edged indie songs have a revelatory quality, with personal truths being finely tuned across some keening melodies."
The Line of Best Fit - “Luce paints a portrait of life as a young queer artist living in the capital at the start of the 21st century.”
Kia Matanky-Becker
Kia is a very serious poet who definitely doesn't dream of being a comedian. An over-sharer and attention seeker, get ready for tales of dyke drama, late nights and the people they fell in love with on the bus this morning.
Recent performances include Glastonbury 2025, Summer in the Ditch for Shoreditch Town Hall and Out Of Frame Dulwich Picture Gallery for LGBTQ+ History Month.
Tall Child
Tall Child is the alias for Zha Gandhi, a South East London based musician of Nigerian/Indian heritage paving the way for black artists in the indie music scene. Tall Child takes inspiration from the likes of Mitski, Julia Jacklin, Solange and Alicia Keys, to create a beautifully intimate and authentic basis for their soundscape. Through brutally honest lyrics, they explore their experiences as a queer disabled POC in hopes of creating a space for those who empathise with having their differences being used against them.
