Join us for the Left Book Club Christmas Games Night on Thursday 3rd December from 7pm at The Common Press in Dalston, for an evening of festive fun, friendly competition and good company to round off the year together.
The Left Book Club is a growing community of readers, thinkers and organisers. We have reading groups meeting across the country, new writing groups getting started, and a programme of events bringing members together throughout the year. Our annual Christmas social is a chance to celebrate that community, meet fellow members and newcomers alike, and find out how you can get more involved in the year ahead.
We’ll have a selection of games to play on the night, including Pluto Press’s Billionaires and Guillotines, alongside plenty of others to suit every mood and level of competitiveness. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or just there for the chat, there’ll be a table for you.
We’ll also have Left Book Club books and merch available, so you can stock up on Christmas gifts for family and friends, or treat yourself to something new for the holidays. There’s a bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and you’re welcome to bring your own food from outside.
Whether you’re a long-standing member or simply curious about what we do, everyone is welcome. Bring a friend or two, and come and join us for a festive evening of games, books and solidarity.
