Welcome to SCSSR, building vibrant lesbian and FLINTA community in the West Midlands.
It's officially cuffing season and we're partnering with Tinder to offer a helping hand to those who haven't found their person yet. Join us for dates & mates at Cotteridge's coolest wine bar, Plonk. This event will be structured like speed dating and is for both platonic and romantic connections to flourish.
On arrival, you will pop a nametag on. The colour nametag you choose will show other attendees whether you're looking for dates or mates. There will be 30 mins of mingling, followed by speed dating, and then an additional 30 mins of mingling before we close out the night. Speed dating begins at 8pm sharp - please arrive with plenty of time!
This event is for dykes, femmes, butches, studs, stems, lesbians, bi, pan, trans, non-binary, and sapphic people. FLINTA BIPOC/Global Majority members are welcome and encouraged at all SCSSR events. If you like the sound of our vibe, come along, however we kindly ask that you help us to hold this space and do not bring cis-male guests. We will never police identity on the door.

Our event is hosted at Plonk, Cotteridge. The venue has a small step into the main bar, and two steps down into the back room. There is a tarmac ramp available into the main bar. The back room is not wheelchair accessible. There is no accessible bathroom. Please contact the venue directly for further information.
Event timings
The event begins at 19:30 and ends at 22:00. Speed dating begins at 20:00 sharp - please arrive with plenty of time! Attendees are welcome to stay in the bar afterwards to continue mingling. Please have your ticket ready on your phone to be scanned at the door.
