Creative Programming For Children with Complex Needs and their Families
ONLINE EVENT
1-2pm, Wednesday 2 December
Booking Essential: Pay What You Can*
Join artist and writer Lisha Rooney, in conversation with Livvy Murdoch, manager of Autograph's award-winning Family SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) Programme. Lisha and Livvy will discuss what programming cultural organisations can offer to children with complex needs and their families, and what the impact can be. Looking forward, they will offer suggestions for organisations interested in setting up their own programmes, and for parents curious about exploring such workshops with their families. At its heart, this is a conversation about the importance of art, making and creative play. This event is aimed at all involved in public galleries and cultural organisations, education, programming and funding, as well as parents of children with complex needs.
You will receive a Zoom link on the day of the event, one hour before start time
