This is the official launch of Threshold, a new platform for experimental music and sound art by queer music makers and sound artists. Threshold is a space for exploration and discovery, curiosity, bravery and work bushing the boundaries of sonic possibility.

Oberon White is a queer, Welsh performance artist, musician and cabaret performer and host. A feral child of different arts practices, their work evoke echoes from the past, esoteric practices, nature and queer culture amongst a messy web of other sources.

J. Aria

A fixture on the London queer-rave circuit, J. Aria is a DJ, multi-disciplinary producer and vocalist that explores hauntology, temporality, formlessness and ‘the mix’ as compositional strategies. They are resident DJs on Threads (London) and Noods (Bristol) radio, and featured on NTS Radio and Rinse France.

Helen Noir is a London-based soprano who combines performance work with composing, sound design, production and mastering. She works in film, theatre, fashion and performance art. Helen is also a longterm member of the Theo Adams Company, with whom she is regularly on stage as well as working on soundtracks and music production.
