Have you read any Golnoosh Nour yet? Her distinctive voice is on fire with queer power in the face of repression. Her debut collection of short stories (out April 2) moves from Iran to a Ukranian airport, and through the lives of characters like Hasti and Mina:
Hasti’s lip gloss had come off and Mina found her unpainted lips with their natural, meaty colour even more appealing. She was already sniffing the scent of her neck when Hasti grabbed her right hand and murmured, ‘Let’s go.’
You may know Nour as the poet Sogol Sur (Sorrows of the Sun, 2017): transgressive, rhythmic, sensual and surprising. Join us as she turns her attention to fiction in this unique queerantine Q&A and book group discussion, chaired by Adam Zmith, the literature programmer of Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest.
Here’s the plan:
On the day you will receive an email to join a Zoom call to discuss the book with Golnoosh and Adam
