Started in 1997, The Cactus Club was set up to introduce Line Dancing to the London Gay scene. Since then, even with many changes in venue and taste, we are still going strong in our 27th birthday year. We still teach line dancing and gender neutral couple dancing to whoever wants to learn.
As we have lost our regular venue at The Two Brewers in Clapham until lockdown is over for pubs, we have moved online. Every Tuesday at 8pm you can learn some line dances that are current on the UK scene as well as old favourites that we have been dancing since the 90s. The class is mixed ability so no matter what your standard you can have a go.
There are also some teaching videos on our YouTube channel along with previous classes and dance-alongs for those who want to do more.
Each Thursday at 8pm (after the clapping) we also host 30 minutes of non-stop line dancing for those who have attended previous classes.

All online classes and dance-alongs are free.
