...and your host, Alabaster Queen
The best way to enjoy life is through the medicine of laughter, and we have a great line up for you.
Kate Smurthwaite - is a political comedian, writer and activist. She tours nationally and internationally, appears regularly on the telly on programmes such as Question Time, This Morning, BBC News, Sky News as well as Woman's Hour. "When it comes to political comedy…Kate is the cream of the crop" Broadway Baby
Red Redmond - has been performing since 2008 and is the popular compére of The Village Idiots (Manchester's only LGBTQ+ Comedy Club). They are "Wonderfully alternative... warm, smart and wholly loveable" GiggleBeats
Sandra D - is usually spinning the decks and getting us dancing on the weekend, she's taken to the microphone and is making us laugh out loud with her witty, observational comedy.
Keddy Sutton - hails from Liverpool and was once the face of Pot Noodle. She'll be showcasing a snippet from her new show 'Tabbard, The Musical Thingy' about the extraordinary ordinary world of cleaner ‘Joy Chicken’ amongst other imressions.
All this will be hosted by Alabaster Queen singer songwriter performance artist and also quite funny in her own, unique way.
See you Tuesday September 1st from 7.30pm. The show starts at 8pm.
