Thats right folx… we are being TAKEN OVER by the incredible REBEL DYKES!
In honour of LGBTQ+ History month we are teaming up with Rebel Dykes and the fantastic Lesley Magazine, for an event which will bring to life the '80s dyke scene in true rebel style!

We will be hearing stories from those who lived 80's London, showcasing photos and artwork from their archives, and using this as inspiration to create artwork of our own!
We are so excited to share this exclusive opportunity with you to learn about and celebrate our rich queer history which so often doesn't make it into the history books!
We will have special guests, including Rebel Dyke Siobhan who can talk to us about her incredible work in putting these archives together and creating the hotly anticipated Rebel Dykes film, set for release this year, as well as artist and Tower Hamlets librarian Atalanta Kernick, a veteran of Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp and the London lesbian scene in the 80’s, with a long-standing interest in Queer Art, History and Archiving. We will also have Kat Hudson from the fantastic Lesley Magazine, to talk about their work and cover the event!
We will be treated to a showing of the newly released Rebel Dykes trailer, hearing about the photos and artwork from the archives and learning about the upcoming Rebel Dykes exhibition, currently being curated by Atalanta.
We will then break out into small groups to discuss what we've seen and heard and have a chance to use inspiration to create our own pieces of artwork using whatever we choose (think drawing, painting, collaging, digital artwork, writing, poetry, music etc. etc.
Submit your creations after the event for a chance of a Lesley Magazine feature!
The event is on Zoom, Thursday 25th Feb at 6.30pm GMT and everyone is invited - So don't miss out!
