80’s Sewing Club with Sonja Harms
Saturday 5th and 12th June 1pm - 4pm
Want to learn how to sew? Don’t know your bobbin from your button hole? Then these are the workshops for you! Over two Saturday workshops you will learn how to use a machine and make a kaftan or simple 80’s style top. Sonja Harms is on hand to help you with all your sewing needs, top tips and techniques (she makes outfits for Grayson Perry’s alter ego ‘Claire’ so she’s a sewing icon and totally fabulous!)
If you have a sewing machine please bring it, you will also need 80’s patterned fabric for your garment!. We will email attendees more instructions about how much fabric they will need nearer the time.
These two workshops are £5 each and you must commit to come to both.
