✨IT’S ONLINE, IT’S LIVE, IT’S TIME, LET’S GET IT. ✨
After 14 months and 24 banging online parties, we’ve decided it’s probably about time we met some of you IRL… So for Queer House Party vol. 25 we’re stepping out of our kitchen and will be going live at The Colour Factory in Hackney Wick!!! This is going to be a throw-down unlike any other throw-down - you’re ALL invited, no matter where you are or how you like to party.
It wouldn’t be QHP without having our online community and the hectic house party vibes we’ve all come to know with us and that’s not about to change. We will have an online space as an integrated aspect of the party, rather than an afterthought, as a radical move towards building grassroots parties that champion participation no matter where you are or what’s most comfortable for you. So if you can’t make it to the venue, or simply would rather party from your own room, you will still be able to tune in and turn it out on screen!
For those of you who can make it to the venue, this will be the first party in a series of queer rave-ups that and will be a seated event. You’ll be able to watch the show live on the Colour Factory stage and see all the drama from the zoom party on the big screen. And of course, we’ll be bringing all of the same accessibility services that we’ve been providing for the last year.
Expect 6 hours of queer chaos from the camp beats that you’ve come to know and love to the performers that have kept you going throughout lockdown. We have an unforgettable IRL and digital line-up of genre-bending talent including Baby, Juni da Moment, Romeo de la Cruz, Jada Love, Tito Bone and Midgitte Bardot, with Liv Wynter and Taali Kwaten hosting both the IRL and online parties (simultaneously?!), and DJs Harry Gay, Wacha and passer holding it down until the wee hours.
