Sebastian Kumeth will speak about his experiences working at and building marketplaces/platforms:
- Octopus & currently Taskrabbit (owned by IKEA and expansion into Germany & Italy)
Sebastian is passionate about “connecting the right dots”, working with wonderful people and meditation, tennis and cooking.
Since 2020 he is the Partner Manager at IKEA owned technology marketplace TaskRabbit and responsible for its expansion in Germany and Italy. Previously, he worked on integrating a fintech business, acquired by Octopus Investments and building the foundation to scale; transforming into a platform proposition.
As a digital consultant, he launched connected car e-commerce services for Jaguar Landrover and lead a data monetisation project for a leading research agency in the UK.
Sebastian will share insights on platform businesses and dynamics in digital marketplaces and can’t wait to get back to previous networking in person soon again.
The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session.
After this, all participants have the opportunity to introduce themselves briefly after the talk. Like "Hi, I am J-F and organise events, let me know if you need help with any forthcoming celebration, meeting, incentive, conference and event."
