22/1/22 - 7pm/12am - Oxford Tavern, Kentish Town
Raising money for The Outside Project
We're holding a Trans Defiance party on Jan 22nd at the Oxford Tavern in Kentish Town, London. This is another chance for London trans ppl to meet, mingle, get drunk (optional) and dance to some queer bangers (not optional). Our inaugural party is in honour of Dr. Blanchard (RIP) to whom we all owe so, so much piss
The Oxford Tavern is a queer friendly pub right next to Kentish Town tube station. We've booked out a function room upstairs which can hold about 60 people and the main bar downstairs holds a couple hundred. Dance music upstairs and a slightly more relaxed atmosphere downstairs. Let's pack the place out!
This is an event for anyone identifying as trans but everyone's welcome as long as they know how to behave themselves. No TERFs (make your own party, it'll suck).
We're raising money for The Outside Project, the London LGBTIQ+ centre, shelter and domestic abuse refuge. All the money from ticket sales will go to them.
*although the lower floor is wheelchair accessible the disabled toilets are busted, i'm really sorry :(
