That's right! Queer the Table is trying something BRAND NEW.
Come along to a casual climb session, suitable if it's your first time or if you're more than well acCLIMBatised.
The brand new Substation Brixton has over 1000sqm of climbing wall, with new problems every week (same). It's a fab eco-conscious venue with easy access to Brixton & Clapham Common Stations. Tons of bike racks too, if that's your thing.
Gather from 6.30pm with an instructor on hand to help out. Climb a bit, hang out a bit on the ground with me, and then we'll have a veggie supper together at Herb, the adjacent hydroponic farm/cafe. Cute right!
In addition to the climbing session, kit hire, welcome drink AND supper, the wonderful matchmaker A WHOLE ORANGE will be joining us with a FREE love advice booth!
As always, it's the perfect event to come to by yourself (I'll make sure you're introduced to everyone) or come with your queer pals & make new ones.
ACCESSIBILITY
Whilst the venue is wheelchair accessible, I understand climbing isn't the most accessible activity. That's why I've made sure we've got plenty of activities on the ground. Message me if you'd like a free ticket to come along (food & drink purchased separately). Clapham North is the nearest station but doesn't have lifts, Brixton however does and the venue has bus links.
