See you at the Joiners : Queer spaces & community building - Queer Migrants in the City
In this panel discussion we explore how London's queer nightlife acts as a glue to build and keep communities together, the joys and pains of running a queer space, and the influence of queer migration in them. We discuss the challenges that these communities face to keep those spaces alive and the responsibilities that all the involved have.
Panelists include: Ben Campkin from UCL's Urban Lab, Marc Thompson from Black and Gay Back in the Day, Karl Verboten from fetish night Klub Verboten, and more TBC.
