Please join us for an intimate performance by Giulio Beltramo, celebrating his most recent single “No Control”!
“Oh My! What a Lovely Basket of Fruit!”, is a 10-day performance programme and art exhibition in support of The Outside Project, brought to you by Qwe’re London and New Normal Projects.
The exhibition will be made up of works by various queer artists and allies, with 50% of the proceeds going directly to them and the other 50% going directly to the Outside Project. The performance programme will be made up of four separate events, consisting of live music, performance art, poetry and a panel discussion.
This is an entirely queer-led project that holds huge significance to us. It is a celebration of queer creating and a cycle of exchange, giving to one another when we are able to in order to support those who need it most.
"Is it a wedding or is it a funeral? London based, South African alternative singer-songwriter, Giulio Beltramo, poses the questions of love, heartbreak and mourning in his latest single “No Control”, a neo-disco inspired alternative track that celebrates queerness and romance while exploring themes of loss and heartbreak.
With over 4 international award nominations under his belt, hundreds of thousands of streams across streaming platforms, national TV performances and radio interviews, Giulio has been making a name for himself amongst both South African and British Audiences. Set to perform in numerous venues across London this Summer with an upcoming solo performance as well as a festival slot, Giulio is not just releasing music but sharing it in person across the country.
From the outset Giulio Beltramo has been influenced strongly by the alternative music genre, in its allowance of expressive lyrics and more explorative melodic and harmonic composition, coupled with his classical music background and fascination with the arts, Giulio presents a multifaceted body of authentically unique music.'"
