Friday's Child Productions is a small-scale production company focusing on telling feminist, queer and underrepresented stories whilst fundraising for different Charities each show.
Founded by Gemma Everest in the Winter of 2025 FCP's debut show was ‘Scary Mary’ at Brighton Fringe 2026 which was dubbed a ‘Highly Recommended Show’ by critics. ‘Scary Mary’ reimagined Mary Shelley as a Post-Punk Goth Girlfriend and told her story through a 60 minute one-woman gig-theatre show featuring original music and clever staging. It was written and produced by Gemma Everest and was raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity (in honour of Mary Shelley who died due to an undiagnosed brain tumour aged 53).
For December 2026 Gemma is very excited to be bringing FCP's second show ‘The Real Housewife of The North Pole’ to London. Full of madcap character comedy hijinks and more original music, it promises to be as camp as, well Christmas. The chosen charity for this show is Switchboard, which Gemma is a proud volunteer of.
