Madame Jo Mama is a formidable presence in Dumfries and Galloway's LGBTQIA+ scene. With notable performances at prestigious events like Club Queer and Steamin, she has also taken the initiative to curate her own successful gatherings, such as N’Dulge N’Drag and the community-driven Oor Hoose. Established in 2022, Oor Hoose, a Community Interest Company, is her brainchild, dedicated to supporting emerging LGBTQIA+ talents as they embark on their journey in the entertainment industry. Moreover, Madame Jo has enjoyed the honor of hosting the 2022 and 2023 Re:Dress event, helming her radio show and podcast, and gracing the main stage of the Eden Festival, showcasing her versatility and passion for the LGBTQIA+ community.
