🎬 The Marginal Film Festival - London Edition
For the first time, Brazil’s Mostra do Filme Marginal (@mostradofilmemarginal) lands in London! Follow our instagram here for more details.
đź“… 26 Oct - 1 Nov 2025
📍 Evening screenings across East, Central & South London
A collective, independent, and non-commercial film initiative from Brazil, the festival has, since 2017, opened space for independent, authorial, and critical cinema — always free, always radical. It showcases films and voices pushed aside by the dominant system: from Indigenous struggles to housing movements, women’s liberation to environmental justice.
This 5th edition, Cinema of Struggle: Art of Liberation, brings this urgent cinema of resistance into focus — and now, to London. Screenings are always free - simply choose the ticket option that works for you. All contributions help cover travel costs for one of our curators from Brazil and support the festival’s ongoing work in building spaces for popular and critical cinema.
âś… Programme dates and venues already confirmed are listed below - spots can be reserved now. The opening afternoon (26th Oct) and closing day/evening (1st Nov) is set and will be announced shortly, so keep an eye out for the update even after booking.
Screenings are free - with Pay What You Can and Solidarity Tickets available. Your support directly helps cover travel costs for our curator from Brazil and to make this festival possible.
