Join the Lived Experience Coordinator to learn more about what is happening to improve gender identity services in Scotland and a discussion on what the community wants these services to look like!
You might have heard about the work being done by the Scottish Government to improve gender identity services. We can tell you a bit more about the 'NHS gender identity services: strategic action framework 2022-2024' – which was released the year before last, and is the plan that is guiding the changes being made.
After that, we will be having a discussion about what good gender identity healthcare would look like for you, and how the work being done can move us towards that goal.
We know many of you will have had conversations and shared your views on gender identity services and what needs to change before. But with work underway right now to try and really make a difference, the Lived Experience Coordinator’s role is all about sharing your views and experiences with the people taking decisions about these changes. So please do join us and make sure that your voice can help shape what happens!
