Queer Open Decks
Queer Open Decks is a support and networking event for any LGBTQ+ DJs working within London/Online or those looking to learn basic DJ skills. Started as a small meet up at the London LGBTQ+ Centre, we are now a growing community of genre-fluid LGBTQ+ DJs meeting monthly on Wednesdays at the Five Points Brewery & Taproom.
We are able to accommodate both Vinyl & Digital DJS (using either USB or laptops - with or without controllers), but do not currently have access to CDJs.
Please note that this is primarily a social/community-oriented event rather than a club night - we have the whole venue to ourselves to allow for those wishing to learn to DJ in a supportive environment alongside more experienced DJs. We welcome complete beginners - just come as you are and bring your interest!
This is a Free Event - We are being kindly supported by Five Points Brewery with this space, please pay this back by putting money over the bar.
We are a queer space. This means fostering a space that is inclusive and respectful of all backgrounds, particularly those marginalised from mainstream gay spaces. We are anti-racist, trans positive and care about making the space accessible to all.
If you'd like to contact us before the event, please message us on @queeropendecksldn on instagram.
