Luke is kindly giving his time to come and play Margate Arts Club as a Margate Pride fundraiser, and if you know this guys calendar, you'll know how unique, special and rare this moment is! Margate Pride is hosting a pure joyful Queer disco party for everyone to feel the love and help make our pride happen.
All door takings will be going to make our pride happen in Margate. Thank you Luke! We go way back with Luke, sharing stages at the NYC Downlow Glastonbury and Arts Club co founder Amys club Savage as well as dancing to his music in venues across the world. Luke is one of the four man DJ collective of Horse Meat Disco who have become a household name in the dance music scene across the globe, but still maintain their regular residency at the Eagle in Vauxhall, London, "a disco, in a pub", where they put on a club night invoking the spirit of the original Gay disco parties. It is the music that is at the forefront and driving force of their events. Luke pride himself on playing bona-fide disco classics alongside rarer underground gems from the 1970s and 80s. Luke Howard always has absolute bangers in his record bag and we are over joyed to welcome him to play the epic Margate Arts Club sound system……
