Scandalous Stories
Join an LGBTQ+ Elders/50+ writing group at the Triangle!
This series of 4 workshops will be joyful and jam-packed creative writing gatherings with tai chi, conversations and writing exercises. You will get the chance to write from various prompts - images, personal memories, music, historical news-clippings and scandalous stories. Open to all levels of experience. Come for the writing, stay for the social.
Initially we are offering 4 sessions and are asking people to sign up for them all so that we create a supportive group. We hope to continue these creative writing workshops in the spring and be part of the 2024 Deptford Literature Festival.
Friday evenings 7-9pm and you are welcome to stay afterwards in the bar at Triangle.
Dates: Fridays 3rd Nov, 10th Nov, 17th Nov, (not 24th), 1st Dec
Venue: Triangle LGBTQ+ Cultural Centre 34 Watsons street, Deptford, London, SE8 4AU
Cost: £40 for 4 workshops (ie £10 per session) or £20 concessions (£5 per session)
