Witchcraft, Feminism, and YA literature: an event with Jennifer Lane
What would you ask a real-life witch?
Join author and green witch Jennifer Lane to explore magic, feminism and what it means to be a witch in 2023.
Witchcraft has taken the literary world by storm, and who wouldn't want to read their favourite witchy book by candlelight next to a simmering cauldron? In the build-up to Halloween, YA author Jennifer Lane will be discussing the huge benefits of real witchcraft, how it can empower and heal us, and exactly why the witch has become YA's biggest heroine.
After the event Jennifer will be signing copies of her latest book, The Black Air, in the bookshop.
Don't forget to bring your broomstick!
Date: 27th October
Time: 2pm-3pm
There are a limited number of free tickets available for this event - if you cannot afford the minimum pay-what-you-can ticket type, please email us on books@commonpress.co.uk and we will add you to the guest list, no questions asked.
